Talea (Syria) 0 // 2 WAC (Morocco)

The WYDAD of Casablanca acheived this afternoon (Tuesday 18th) a very good result facing the Talea Syrian Club in Syria by two goals (half-time: 0/1), in a match counting for the 4th day of the Arabian Champions league (group B).

The two goals of the meeting were scored by Sadio Sow at the 35th minute by a strog strike from the center (about 40 yards), while the goalkeeper only kept watching the ball stopping in the net without reaction, and the reds' second goal was marked by Abdrezzak Sakim at the 92nd minute after adding 4 minutes by the referee as extra-time.

In the other match of the same group, the algerian club USMA was beaten yesterday facing Talaïe Aljaych of Egypt by 1 goal to 0.

Thanks to this deserved victory, the Moroccan team has crossed a major step towards the semi-finals and it needs only a single point to qualify for the next tround (the golden square).

The WAC is now the leader of the second group with 9 points and far from its nearest rival (USMA) by 4 points, while Talea and Talaïe share the third place with 4 points.

Congratulations to the reds, and good wishes to the second Moroccan Club in the ACL; the RAJA of Casablanca!!
